Air routes for participants of the Children of Asia Games were presented in Oman

Delegation of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) headed by Vice President Dmitry Glushko visited Muscat city (Oman). The delegation consists of Minister of Federative Relations and Foreign Affairs Valery Maksimov, Councilor of Vice President Ivan Rozhin, Deputy Director of Administration of the Children of Asia Games Sergey Khatylykov.

On April 24 within the OCA Central and West Asia Forum Chairman of the Children of Asia Games Organizing Committee Dmitry Glushko informed national Olympic committees of the region on preparation progress. 18 countries of Asia, mainly from Middle East, participated in the Forum.

The Children of Asia Games were presented along with such great events as 2012 Olympic Games in London, 2013 Asian Youth Games in Nanjing (PRC), and 2014 Asian Games in Incheon (Republic of Korea).

In addition a presentation of the official carrier of the Games – Yakutia Air Company was held within the report. During the presentation they considered routes and dates of carrying of the Children of Asia Games’ participants. The presentation was held by First Deputy Director General of the company Pavel Udod.  

The delegation of the republic met with representatives of Nanjing Asian Youth Games Organizing Committee. Sides discussed future cooperation of the two projects aimed at development of children’s and youth’s sports on Asian continent. Dmitry Glushko invited leaders of the Nanjing 2013 Organizing Committee to participate in events of the Games and exchange experiences in area of volunteerism.

 According to the results of working meetings with NOCs confirmation of participation was received from Oman, technical issues were discussed with Iraq, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Qatar.
